One Piece: 1000 Dreams

One Piece: 1000 Dreams takes place 300 years after the events of the One Piece Canon. In this universe, Luffy never made it to Laughtale and never became Pirate King. The great age of piracy is over, gone not with a bang but a whimper as the legend of the One Piece fell into obscurity. But, like many legends before, a new figure stepped up to change the flow of the era. This man wasn’t an adventurous pirate, brave revolutionary or a vile villain. This man was the world’s greatest comedian. He travelled the globe bringing laughs and smiles, curing the hearts of a wearied world, but he never smiled himself. Shortly before his retirement, he announced that somewhere along his travels he had hidden the world's greatest joke. A new age of adventure was created just to seek out this joke, as it’s said whoever finds the joke will be able to laugh for the rest of their days.
