Many years ago a highly influential politician named William Baker founded Soaring Peaks Academy in the sleepy old abandoned miners town of Martyr Peaks in the deep Northern areas of Canada. The Academy had direct ties to Hopes Peak and was set up as an alternative way to cultivate a talent and get accepted into Hopes Peak. The Academy and town were closed off from the world and isolated to create a 'Deeply enriching and unique academic environment' that would specifically 'Cultivate talent'. The public are unsure of the specifics of what the academic program is like at Soaring Peaks but it's known as the fast track to becoming an Ultimate, with talent scouts sent there once a month to recruit new Ultimates from the Student Body.
