LET ME TELL YOU How Tech changed my Life Hello World I'm Raysa Suarez. I'm a UI/UX designer living in sunny Miami, FL 🌴 I was born in a little countryside town in Cuba. I had my first computer when I was 17 and since I didn't grow up with internet, I thought Facebook was the internet itself 😂. Because of tech I met my husband, through Messenger in 2016 💬. He introduced me to code and design 💻. After much study and many failed interviews, I was able to get my first job as a UI/UX Designer when I moved to the USA in 2019 👩‍🎨. Getting into tech and reinventing myself helped me not only financially, but personally. In 2021, I fought and won the battle against thyroid cancer, and the flexibility and health insurance of my tech job supported me all the way 🎗️.
