Oasis Asylum

Oasis Asylum was founded in the mid-19th century in a remote location outside of a small town. Originally established as a sanatorium for those suffering from tuberculosis, the facility expanded over time to provide care for those with various mental illnesses. The asylum was initially run by a group of nuns who were known for their compassionate care and dedication to their patients. However, in the early 20th century, the asylum was taken over by a new management team who were more interested in cutting costs than providing quality care. Under this new management, the asylum became severely overcrowded and underfunded. Patients were often neglected and mistreated, leading to a number of scandals and investigations by local authorities. They had a secret: an "abandoned" basement that nobody’s allowed down. There are people down there, doing tests on all the insane. The ones running it, are the most insane people that have ever been there, which have been thought to be dead for hundreds of years. The insane people that sneak down there, are their test subjects. As mental health care services in the community were not yet fully developed, many of these patients struggled to adjust to life outside of the asylum when they were released. Some returned to the asylum voluntarily, while others ended up homeless or in jail. Today, they still face the same challenges. Will you put an end to the corruption? Or will you succumb to the madness?
