We strive to teach all young wizards and witches the necessary information needed for their future within the wizarding world, and allow students to reach their best potential within many classes and clubs. Established in 990 AD, Hogwarts is the recommended school for all children from the wizarding world in the UK and Ireland. Here in Hogwarts we offer a variety of classes, from Muggle Studies to Defence Against the Dark Arts. Overtime in school students are capable of choosing classes they wish to pursue depending on their desired future occupation. We also offer opportunities to participate in clubs and sports teams, specifically quidditch. These opportunities are determined by their house. All students are sorted into four houses which decides their living and learning communities and environments: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. This also determines their sport team choices for school tournaments, specifically quidditch. We hope to see you on September 1 for your school term.
