Through war, plague and strife Balwhorf still stands. A nation built on the blood of innocents, soldiers and of course the enemy. In recent times though the question stands...who is the enemy? Perhaps ancient Attoria to the south with their adept mages and damned Creed? Or those feral Veshi prowling dense jungle to our west? Maybe we must target the Ippon Shogunate across the waters, their land holds many secrets that could benefit us after all? Or maybe just maybe our enemies lie within our very nation. Criminal bands and lunatic zealots sullying our great kingdom. Now that I think about it perhaps the enemy hides behind a crown. Balwhorf royalty who some believe don't deserve any power. Instead it should be in the hands of the four lords, the finest soldiers akin to legend who have garnered respect through action rather than heritage. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and so is evil. In the end you should decide what you want to make of our nation, of this world. Cling to faith, loyalty, magic, honour, might or whatever appeals to your ideals. I just hope you leave something behind. Life's too short and death comes for us all, no matter what some might say. Leave a legacy. Make your mark. Decide our future. Or die trying. - As I've posted this on the (10th of March) the server's wip. Due to this no rp will be happening immediately. I made this public so early on to allow for important narrative roles to be claimed. These are positions of power that will allow you to have more immediate influence on the story. Claiming them in this early stage can give you time to plan, flesh out potential relationships you want characters to have had. Intertwine backstories set up dynamics. You could potentially add to the lore in this stage, have an idea for a past war you'd like to be featured? A specific cool item you want placed in the world? This is the stage I can allow that.
