Humanity stands on the brink of extinction, driven there by its own treachery against the very gods who once watched over them. Our sole kingdom struggles to survive in this misbegotten world, reduced to mere survival at best. We toil with sweat-soaked brows and calloused hands, rather than wielding the devices of sorcery that were once the birthright of our ancestors. Life is now a harsh existence defined by physical labor and the certainty of death lurking around every corner. Our armies clutch crude spears in battle-stained hands with the heart where their forefathers once wielded unparalleled arcane power. The opulent Tulian society, nestled in a gleaming city within the forest depths, disregards our plight. They dismiss us as arrogant failures who suffered the consequences of our own hubris.
