The year 2084. The day where humans are no longer the apex species, all caused by successions of meteorites crashing to Earth. From those meteorites emerged a foreign substance, reawakening a hidden power called a soul, and giving the survivors either an ability and becoming a superhuman, or morphing into a huge, amorphous nightmare that took over the world. You have been rescued and transported into The Bastion, a research facility built with the purpose of investigating and teach people with these abilities — also referred to as Unnaturals — and fight back the creature taking over the planet.
