Enter a world where humanity's straggles to survive after "The Great Collapse," brought on by scientists' disastrous attempts to treat Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. The emergence of a mutant prion illness nearly three years ago caused havoc and turned those who contracted it into ferocious, zombie-like creatures. Survivors now form alliances and navigate the hazardous wastelands in an effort to take control of the situation and discover what caused the apocalypse.
